Jennifer Peers


Jennifer is a voice teacher, singer and actor based in Sydney, Australia.  

She teaches vocal technique and musical theatre for the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) and Brent Street, as well as working with many of Australia's premier musical theatre performers in her private vocal studio. 

As a performer, she most recently appeared as the Tour Guide in A Gentleman's Guide To Love & Murder for The Production Company. Other credits include: Sister Sophia in the Australian tour of The Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof Australian tour, Angel City 4 Soprano in City of Angels for Life Like Company, Nellie Melba in Melba for New Musicals Australia, Gertrude Stein in Loving Repeating for Vic Theatre Company,  Showboat, Isabel in The Pirates Of Penzance for The Production Company, Miss Lark in the Australia/NZ tour of Disney’s Mary Poppins, Karen in BBC drama The Kangaroo Gang: Thieves By Appointment, Peaches in Jerry Springer the Opera at the Sydney Opera House, Opera Australia's national tour of My Fair Lady, Frieda/Betty in Sunday In The Park With George for the Q Theatre and Minnie Davies in the original Australian cast of The Hatpin.

She spent 2 years living and working in London where she made her West End debut as the lead soprano in Shoes for Sadler's Wells.  UK credits include: Sharon/Sophie cover in the UK tour of Master Class and 57 Hours at the National Theatre Studio London.

Jennifer is a graduate of WAAPA (Music Theatre) and also has a Bachelor of Music (Voice) from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music.
