TERTIARY MUSICAL THEATRE AUDITION COURSE 2023
ONLINE MASTERCLASS SERIES WITH JENNIFER PEERS
Auditioning for Australian Tertiary Musical Theatre courses starting in 2024? Many universities and training institutions are now doing VIDEO auditions for the initial rounds. This is the perfect opportunity for us to work online to prepare your songs.
WHAT: A four-week course, comprising of a two-hour weekly online Masterclass.
Each student will be guided through the process of preparing songs for tertiary musical theatre auditions. Participants will choose two contrasting songs to work on and receive individual personalised feedback.
We'll also cover:
Choosing repertoire and creating audition cuts
Self-test skills for video auditions
Vocal technique
Acting through song
Audition tips
You'll finish the course confident that you are well-prepared to give yourself the best chance of success!
DATES: 4 x Monday evenings in August (7th, 14th, 21st and 28th). Participants must attend all four sessions.
TIME: 6pm-8pm AEST (Sydney timezone).

MUSIC THEATRE: AN EXPLORATION OF STYLE

A deep-dive into teaching musical theatre and preparing students for musical theatre auditions. This will be followed by a masterclass and Q&A session, where we will dig deeper into vocal technique, acting through song and practical repertoire tips. Teachers and students welcome!

BROADWAY WEEKENDS
Thrilled to be invited to teach four online singing technique masterclasses in April with Broadway Weekends.

WHAT: A 75-minute class where you will be guided through a vocal warm-up and practical exercises to better understand your voice. This will be followed by a masterclass where we will dig deeper into vocal technique & great tips for musical theatre auditions.

FREE ONLINE SINGING CLASS
GROUP VOCAL TECHNIQUE WITH JENNIFER PEERS
WHAT: Group Vocal Technique Class with Jen. A 60-minute class where I’ll guide you through a full vocal warm-up of practical exercises as we dig deeper into technique (alignment, breathing, resonance, registration, basic anatomy, vocal health). Finished off with a Q&A.
